Head Lice

Hi all,

There has been a reported case of head lice in the class. Can I ask you all to check your child's head regularly over the next few weeks and to treat if necessary. Please click on the following link https://www.hse.ie/eng/health/child/head-lice/parents-leaflet.pdf to find information on how to treat for head lice.

Thanks,

Rachel

Science Week

Hi Everyone,

The children are taking part in STEM week this week. There are lots of activities taking place around the school.

On Monday they got to work with Dan Malone who came in and did some experiments with them. Today Sarah Murphy came in and introduced them to a new coding program on the iPads. Tomorrow they will take part in a Maths trail working together with 2nd class and on Thursday they will get to take part in four hands on experiments.

Friday is dress up as a crazy scientist day. We are encouraging everyone to take part.

We can't wait to see all the crazy scientists on Friday!

Thanks,

Brian and Rachel
